Well, I went to bed early and tried to sleep. According to my phone, I actually slept a total of five hours (and some change), which is not really a “good night sleep”. I had planned on sleeping in, but the melodic, drone-like echo of a slumbering Mikey prevented me from achieving an eight hour night of rest.
I decided the best course of action would be to smother him with a pillow. However, I quickly reconsidered the effects first degree murder charges would have on the rest of this challenge (and my life). I figured the best choice for a productive morning would be a visit to Anytime Fitness.
I made the right choice.
I am not going to dwell on the numbers, but I crushed it. I crushed last night’s effort by nearly a minute. And now, I am going to eat my egg white omelette, watch the local news, drink some orange juice, and get ready to start my day. I have also decided not to step on the scale this morning. The digital shackles of a trivial number will lead to an online rant that will turn into a tangent. I will talk negatively about myself, and I don’t have time for verbal self-abuse. I am worth more.
