I’m here to remind you, I’m not a smart man. There are many things in Job that I can understand and comprehend, but there is much more that I don’t understand. I liken the language to the Parables Jesus speaks, I need understanding, just like the Disciples needed understand of Jesus Parables. And the Disciples didn’t rely on man to explain it to them, they asked Jesus directly what the Parables meant. And that is how I approach Job, I pray for understanding before I study, and I trust my God will teach me what He wants me to know.
That said, all I can say about Job 8 is that it is now Bildad’s turn to talk to Job, and he doesn’t appear to be anymore comforting than Eliphaz, even suggesting that Job’s children had sinned and their death was the punishment for that. Then he urges Job to repent, indicating that Job’s condition is his own fault caused by his own sins.
But don’t rely on me. You can read Chapter 8 of the Book of Job here.

God, as we study Your Word, send Your Spirit down to teach us. Open our hearts and our minds to receive Your message, and give us understanding of what you want us to learn and live by. Thank You for Your Word Lord, for without it we would be even more lost that we are. Amen.
