The Meaning Of Life

Bible Study with Big John Tracy

Volume 1-28, Job 9 and 10

In Job 9 (I will leave a link), Job answers Bildad, talking about all of the great things God is and does. He talks about how no mortal man can even begin to compare with God because there is no comparison. God is perfect.

Then Job talks about the faults of man, and how man can’t even compare with God, doesn’t have the ability to challenge God. And while I have a hard time understanding a lot of the text, or moreso, comprehending how it applies to Job’s situation, it is still some beautiful text and I recommend you read it. Below is the link to Job 9.

And in Job 10, Job continues to ask God and wonder why he was born into this world only to end up in the condition he is in. Here is the link to Job 10.

Father in Heaven. I* am a mere man, and through the generations, we have become less intelligent, less sharp, because we have separated ourselves from you and had given ourselves to earthly things. Therefore I am not as smart as Job was, nor as smart as Bildad, or Eliphaz, or whomever the author of the book was, therefore it is so much harder for me to understand and comprehend what it is you want me to learn from the story of Job. I ask that you open my heart and mind, that you remove the obstacles to my understanding, that you sent your Spirit to me to teach me, and that you help me to understand the message you want me to learn. I desire to to learn your Word and to draw closer to you. Amen.
