The possible site of the crossing of the Red Sea has been surveyed and explored in great detail by many, and a lot of evidence has been uncovered supporting this. You can surf YouTube for more, but this is just one example. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vU9VDJh_oLU
Once the children of Israel were granted their release by Pharaoh, they began their exodus, lead by God. God led them by a pillar of fire at night and a cloud during the day, and even told them where to camp. But as one last sign of His Glory and wonders, He hardened Pharaoh’s heart again so that he second guessed his release of the Iraealites, and decided to pursuit them and bring them back to Egypt is slaves. The children of Israel were on foot, but Pharaoh had horse drawn chariots, so they easily pursued and caught up with Moses and God’s Chosen.
And when it appeared as though they had been captures, because God had led them to a place where their only way out was to cross the Red Sea, God literally separated the waters, and the children of Israel were able to cross the sea; even the ground was dry.
Pharaohs army pursued them, but once the children of Israel were safely across, God closed the waters up, covering Pharaoh’s army, and they drown.
And even though it was centuries ago, evidence of chariot wheels has been found at the bottom of the Red Sea.
Would you have enough trust in God to enter cross a sea where you have a wall of water surrounding you? Or was the wall of water the least of two threats. You would have to have some faith in order to do that.
Despite the problems you may be facing in life, do you not think that God can bring you through them? If God can part a sea and allow you to cross on dry land, He can do anything.

Once they crossed the Red Sea, they children of Israel started singing songs of praise for God. But it didn’t take long. God led them through the wilderness on their way to the promised land, and after three days without water, they came upon the waters of Marah. It doesn’t say if it was a stream an oasis, or a well, but the Bible says the water was bitter.
Do you think the children of Israel had faith that God would give them water? They had just seen God’s ability to send ten plagues upon Egypt. They saw God’s ability to remove their yokes of slavery. They saw God’s ability to part the Red Sea so they could escape Pharaoh’s army.
They had seen nothing but the love of God, caring for them, protecting them, leading them to freedom. And after al that, they began complaining to Moses about the water.
Were the children of Israel simply spoiled, or do you think this was Satan impressing them to judge God? Was this Satan once again, trying to turn them away from God, against God? Any rational person by now would see the powers of God and pull their full trust in him. But Satan has power we don’t realize. He’s not as powerful as our Lord and Savior, but he is powerful enough to draw us away from God.
One thing I see when I read this, is that instead of complaining to Moses about the water, they should’ve knelt down and prayed to God for His blessings. But then again, they were succumbing to the temptation of Satan.
When you find yourself at your worst, when you thing there is no answer to your problems, when you feel helpless and hopeless, don’t let Satan discourage you so you begin to blame God for your problems, to wish you were back in the old days before God saved you. Trust God. Have faith in HIm. And always pray. Pray without ceasing.
Once again, God’s mercy saved them. God could have let them die of thirst. God could have struck them dead right there. God could have turned them around and led them back into Pharoah’s hand. But He didn’t. He loved them, and despite their sins, He saved them. And He’ll do the same thing for you and me.
Don’t whine about your problems, be thankful for your blessings, because they are many. And always, turn to God.l
