These chapters deal with the commands of “uncleanness after childbirth, during menstrating, after the discharge of semen and other bodily fluids, and other such things.

I do not understand these things, but I trust that God does. He knows better than I, and there is a reason why he passed these rules down. It possibly may have to do with preventing infection, or preventing the spread of infection, or maybe the contracting of disease, I do not know. But I knew God has a reason for everything.

Just as we see here where once again, God commands that male children be circumcised at the age of 8 days, and now scientists have shown that the clotting power in blood is at it’s highest on Day 8 after birth. That is more than coincidence.

So as you read through these chapters, pray for understand, and see if something strikes as you as to a reason for these laws and commands.
