We don’t have just one hymn we sing over and over and over at church, so why would there just be one psalm asking God for help against the enemies of Israel? And this is what Asaph wrote about in Psalm 83, making a please to God to intercede with their enemies.
Changing the subject, the authors of many of the psalms are unknown, and in addition, it is not know when they were written and for what reason. We are now going to cover all of the psalms of David that were written around unknown events.
And here is Psalm 2 and 4 which appear to simply be songs of worship. Perhaps some of these, just a thought, were songs he sang to Saul when called upon to comfort Saul with music. And I urged you to read the psalms, but I’ve found a YouTube channel that puts some of them to music which I’m going to enjoy in the future when I’m in the mood for music.
