Psalm 102:
Ever feel overwhelmed? Everyone has at some time or another, and I know I have on multiple occasions, and still face it frequently. The title of this psalm is “A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before the Lord.” It might be a good psalm to read on those occasions when you are weighed down.
Verse 2 “In the day that I call, answer me speedily.” Now is a good time to mention that God answers all prayers; sometimes His answer isn’t always then and there, and sometimes His answer is “no”. But He does answer, and you can tell the psalmist is overwhelmed because he is requesting a speedy answer.
Verse 25 “Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.” – God created the entire universe, and honestly, we have no idea how many other universes He has created. He is the great Creator!

Psalm 104:
Verse 2 “Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment“. – I’m in no way trying to brag or be prideful, but verses like this make me happy to think that perhaps I am right about the glorious light of God’s Glory, the Glory that will be so bright the lost and the wicked will not be able to withstand it. And I find myself stuck on this explanation so much because I just can’t imagine a God that shoots forth fire to burn and destroy the wicked; He is simply not that type of God. And like a broken record, I’ll say it again; the wicked will perish because they have separated themselves from God and as such, are not able to withstand His Glory. They will perish at their own hand, not at God’s.
This psalm also shows how perfect God created this earth, it is not all by chance. He has provided a place for every animal in which to live, the perfect habitat for them, He has created the perfect streams and rivers to provide water for life, the landscape He created is perfect the growth of vegetation and it’s sustainment…He is the perfect Creator!
